INTERNATIONAL CATALOGUE EXHIBITION
Hundreds of advertising catalogues from the UK, USA, Canada and Australia were showcased at a PMP International Catalogue Exhibition over four days in late September/ early October. Customers from across the business units were invited to attend.
“The exhibition was the first of its kind in New Zealand and we were very excited to bring this event to our customers,” says Executive Assistant, Hannah Stevenson. The catalogue samples on display were arranged into categories such as grocery, electronics, homeware, clothing, fashion, pharmaceutical etc.
“This meant the customers could view similar industry samples and see a comprehensive range of creative styles and design ideas. Some of the points of difference between each one were the layout, sizes, pagination and fold types.”
The exhibition included a number of strong and famous brands, including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Boots, Curry’s, Bloomingdales, Victoria’s Secret, Lowe’s and Pottery Barn to name a few. The catalogues also covered a wide cross section of categories. Hannah says many key customers in the PMP family attended, including representatives from Ogilvy’s, TBA Communications, Farmers, Draft FCB, Chrisco, Y&R Gasworks and Noel Leemings.
“PMP Australia has successfully run the catalogue exhibition for a number of years and lent PMP NZ the masses of samples for our show. “We had such a successful event that we will run the show again in 2010.”
